Christmas projects

Christmas is now less than 6 weeks away. I'm working on presents as much as I can, which isn't enough.

We found a neat HABA farm playset at BabySteals for less than half off and bought it.

I wanted the kids to have something to play on so I made a couple of felt playmats. They aren't the coolest thing in the world but they are really cheap materials and took less than an hour to make.

This ones has a little road and pond with a moveable trough of grass. I still want to make some other moveable items but am not sure what to make yet

This one is supposed to be fields.

I also finished a mitten for B's daughter (no photos).

And am working on a braided cable scarf for Mara in a yarn that she picked out. Its easy to memorize and is turning out beautifully.

I love the felt playmats! What a great idea. I may have to steal it for V's pokemon.

Sam- I think it would work with any little figures. I've seen some cute 3D ones too with caves and volcanoes. Mine was much simpler (without pieces for the 3 yr old to yank off) and easier though!

You are definitely an overachiever! What are you doing with 3 kids (one an infant) and this much time on your hands?!?! Your children are too good or your husband is too helpful. Something is obviously wrong. LOL!!!!
